The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has revised the dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. According to the updated schedule, the online registration process will open from August 28 to August 28, 2025. The last date for regular registration has now been extended to September 28, 2025, while candidates can apply with a late fee until October 9, 2025.
The computer-based examination will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, across multiple centres in India. Results will be announced on March 19, 2026. IIT Guwahati has advised aspirants to regularly check the official GATE 2026 website for updates, as the schedule remains subject to change.
GATE 2026 Notification: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has launched the website for GATE 2026. Candidates preparing to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 exams can check the exam schedule and other details online. GATE 2025 is scheduled to be held in February 2026. The exam time and other details are given on the official website.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 registration will commence on August 25, 2025, via the newly launched official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
The examination will be organised by IIT Guwahati, who will also oversee registrations and applications this year.
