New Delhi, November 14 : The facility for correction in exam
city for GATE 2020 exam has started. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)
Delhi, the organising institute of GATE 2020 notified the same through its
official website. Students who wish to change their exam city for appearing in
the exam can use the facility for making the necessary corrections.
The facility is available through GATE Online Application Processing
System (GOAPS). Students need to login to their GATE candidate portal using
application number and password and make changes in exam city. The facility for
making changes in gender, category and other important details will be
available after November 20.
IIT Delhi has earlier started correction facility on October 14 for
modification in candidate name, parent details, address and other basic
details. GATE application form 2020 was available from September 28 to October
5. GATE 2020 will be conducted on february 1, 2, 8 and 9 in online mode across
various test cities.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is the entrance exam for admission in engineering PG courses in IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and other participating institutes. GATE score is also used by many PSUs for recruitment in various posts.
