The deadline for GATE 2021 registration has been extended up to October 7.
GATE 2021 examination is scheduled over six days and twelve sessions, starting Feb 5, 2021
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has extended the registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021 till October 7.
“Online registration for GATE 2021 is EXTENDED up to Wednesday 7th October 2020 with regular fees,” read a statement on the website.
GATE is an entrance examination conducted jointly by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee on behalf of National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
Candidates who wish to register for the exam have to pay a fee of ₹1500 per paper. Female candidates and those who belong to the reserved category can pay up to ₹750. In case a candidate fails to pay the fee, s/he can apply by October 12, by paying an additional late fee of ₹2,000.
