Application Fee Details
Aspirants can pay the GATE 2022 application fee through any
one of the permitted online payment modes i.e., net banking, debit card or
credit card or wallet. Moreover, candidates must also bear the additional bank
or transactional charges while paying the application fee. To avoid the extra
charges, candidates are advised to complete the application form as soon as
possible and submit it on gate.iitkgp.ac.in.
Once the registration process ends, GATE 2022 authorities
will go through all the applications received and display the defective ones on
October 26, 2021.
Candidates will get time up to November 01, 2021, to rectify
and submit their application forms. Beyond this period, IIT Kharagpur will
cancel the candidature of defective applications, if any. Hence, candidates who
are yet to submit their application form are advised to fill it correctly to
avoid any later rectifications. Those who have already submitted their forms
must visit the official website frequently for any update on their forms.
Apart from GATE 2022 form rectification, aspirants will also
get time to change their paper, category or exam. This facility will remain
open till November 12, 2021. To make these changes, aspirants must bear the
additional fee charges. Hence, it’s better to select the correct exam centre or
paper at the first instance.
According to the
GATE 2022 information brochure, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on
February 05, 06, 12 and 13, 2022. The exam will be held in two sessions on each
day – 1. Forenoon session from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2. Afternoon session
from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Each candidate will be appearing for the exam as per
the date, time and venue mentioned in the GATE 2022 admit card.
