The Anjuman I
Islam’s Saif Tyabji Girls’ High School and Jr College was the venue for TEKLA,
a workshop to attract girls and women into the world of STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) recently.
The event was
organised by Swedish Institute, FICCI Ladies Organisation and KTH Royal
Institute of Technology in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI
Aayog.
Earlier, the
educational institution was selected by NITI Ayog to set up Atal Tinkering
Laboratory, under the Atal Innovation Mission, on its premises to cultivate the
spirit of curiosity and innovation among young minds.
It
is one of the 14 schools in Mumbai to achieve this distinction.
