Engineering
students in India will now have to study social sciences including management,
environmental sciences, Indian culture and Constitution according to a model
curriculum by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The move does not apply
to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and the Indian Institutes of
Technoligy (IITs), reported Hindustan Times.
