Chandigarh, Nov 22 (UNI) Haryana Cabinet on Wednesday made
amendment in the Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Department Junior
Engineer and Additional Sub Divisional Engineer (Group-C) Service Rules,
2014.
The rules would be known as the Haryana Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Junior Engineer and Additional Sub Divisional Engineer,

(Group-C) Amendment Service Rules, 2017.
The Cabinet met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here.
According to the amendment, the three year national certificate (theoretical) course in Civil Engineering as mentioned in the existing rules would be replaced by three years Diploma in Civil Engineering for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) and Diploma in other respective branches for Junior Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical and Computer). Further the requirement of certificate computer course in MS Office or open office or equivalent and AutoCAD or Cardpro or equivalent has been deleted from the prescribed qualifications.
